Brian Hu is an accomplished professional in data engineering and product development, currently serving as the Head of Product Engineering at VCA Software since March 2025 and as Senior Director of Data Engineering and BI at 360insights.com since October 2022. Previously, Brian held the position of Director of Engineering for Data, Reporting, and Analytics at Index Exchange from September 2017 to September 2022 and served as an Advisory Board Member for the Design Thinking @ Rutgers - Big Data Analytics Program from July 2018 to June 2019. Additional experience includes managerial roles in data architecture and database administration at PointClickCare, CIBC, and various other organizations. Brian holds a Master of Science degree from the Chinese Academy of Science and completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Peking University, with further academic pursuits as a PhD candidate at The University of Hong Kong.
