Daniel Duarte, EIT, is a detailed-oriented design engineer with a robust background in structural engineering. Currently serving as a Design Engineer II at VCA Structural since August 2022, Daniel has developed expertise in the design and analysis of gravity and lateral load-resisting systems for various structural materials, including aluminum, steel, and wood. Previous experience includes roles as a Design Engineer at MiTek and a Project Engineer at Willis Engineering Inc, where Daniel honed skills in project documentation and load calculations. Daniel's engineering career began as an Entry Level Structural Engineer at Palanisami and Associates, Inc., supplemented by a diverse early career in culinary services and internships that provided hands-on experience in CNC machining and metal fabrication. Daniel Duarte earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from South Dakota Mines and an Associate's degree in Behavioral Sciences from Chaffey College.
