Doug Brown has a strong background in storage and networking technologies. Doug started their career as a Systems Engineer at Inacom Information Systems in 1997 and worked there until 1999. Doug then joined Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Storage Architect, where they were responsible for data storage strategy and integration across the company. In 2010, Doug moved to Brocade as a Senior Solutions Architect, focusing on data center and cloud infrastructure platforms. Doug provided technical architecture for solutions development and integration activities. In 2017, they joined Vcinity as a Senior Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect, and later became the Chief Solutions Architect. Vcinity provides data solutions to bridge gaps between enterprise or cloud storage systems. Doug's expertise lies in maximizing the value of existing infrastructure and addressing challenges with geographically dispersed data. Overall, Doug has a wealth of experience in storage and networking and has held various technical roles throughout their career.

Doug Brown has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Lebanon Valley College. Doug also holds a degree in Network Engineering and Management with a focus on Novell Networking/CNE from the Computer Learning Center - Alexandria VA. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including OpenStack Certified Administrator from Mirantis in August 2015, Brocade Certified Ethernet Fabric Professional from Brocade in April 2013, VMWare Technical Sales Professional from VMWare in October 2012, and several other certifications from Brocade and the Storage Networking Industry Association.
