Erik Drenth

Erik Drenth is a highly experienced leader and supervisor, currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Supervisors at VCOG and as a council member at VNG. With a strong analytical ability and an emphasis on collaborative efforts, Erik focuses on tackling complex issues within the semi-public sector, particularly in education and societal domains. Previously, Erik held various significant positions, including Alderperson at the Municipality of Midden-Groningen, where responsibilities spanned urban planning, finance, and education. Educated in Theology and Journalism, Erik also completed a Post-HBO in Government Management, reinforcing a commitment to clear communication and professional harmony in organizational settings.
