Tom Morris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom currently works as the Business Development Manager at VeChain Tech, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations at LaoWines from April 2015 to January 2021, and as a Business Development Manager at Juntao Wine Trading from June 2014 to January 2021. Tom also worked as a Freelance Consultant at The Export-Import Bank of China from June 2013 to December 2013. Tom'searlier roles include being an English Language Teacher at British Council from September 2010 to July 2011, and a Market Analyst at MBD Commercial Due Diligence from July 2008 to August 2010. Tom has also volunteered at Snowland Tibetan Orphanage in July 2004 and gained work experience at the House of Parliament in January 2004.
Tom Morris started their education in 2005 at The University of Manchester, where they pursued a degree in Economic History and Economics. Tom completed their studies in 2008. In 2006-2007, they also attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they continued their studies in Economic History and Economics. In 2011-2013, they enrolled at Shanghai International Studies University, focusing on Chinese language and culture studies. Additionally, in October 2014, Tom obtained a Level 2 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and in November 2013, they obtained an HSK 5 certification.
