Mark Briggs

Mark Briggs has extensive work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. Mark began their career at Bell Northern Research as a Member of Scientific Staff, where they developed software features for telephone switches and ISDN terminals. Mark then joined Glenayre, where they held various roles including Team Leader Engineering Support and Director of Product Management. At Glenayre, they managed product development, marketing, and sales strategies for wireless messaging systems.

In 2001, Mark joined Spectrum Signal Processing as the Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. Mark was responsible for managing a product portfolio targeting the defense industry, developing partnerships, and overseeing international distribution channels. Mark later became the Vice President of Business Development at Vecima Networks (Spectrum Signal Processing by Vecima). Mark then served as the General Manager at Vecima Networks Inc., where they had profit and loss responsibility for the Spectrum Signal Processing division.

In their most recent role as the Senior Vice President of Cable Sales at Vecima Networks, Mark led the strategic and tactical sales agenda for both direct sales and channel sales in domestic and international markets. Overall, Mark Briggs has demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, product management, and business development in the technology and telecommunications sector.

Mark Briggs obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical from McMaster University in 1988. Mark then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business between 1992 and 1995. Additionally, Mark Briggs is a certified Professional Engineer, having obtained certifications from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC in 2002, and from the Association of Professional Engineers Ontario in 1991.
