Steve Knable

Steve Knable is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications and software industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Vecima Networks Inc. since April 2022, Steve leads a team focused on the DOCSIS vCMTS control plane and dataplane. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer Manager at CommScope, where Steve managed a team developing the E6000 and RMD products, and Principal Software Engineer at ARRIS, responsible for the E6000 RPHY core solution. Steve's technical expertise spans multiple programming languages, including C, C++, Java, and embedded software development, and has experience in Agile methodologies. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
