Whitney Crooks, PhD, is currently the Director of Validation at Vecna Robotics, a position held since 2024. Previously, Whitney worked at iRobot from 2017 to 2020 in various engineering roles, including Test Engineer and Design Assurance Engineering Manager. Whitney holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, where studies were completed from 2014 to 2017, and has contributed as a Future Leaders in STEM Fellow and an IGERT Soft Material Robotics Fellow during their time there. Additionally, Whitney gained early experience through internships at Polytechnic Institute of New York University and EnTeam, as well as tutoring at Washington University in St. Louis.
