Robert Dix

Robert Dix is an experienced engineering professional specializing in product development and mechanical design with a solid background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Product Development at Vectair Systems since August 2017, Robert previously held roles including Senior Project Engineer at Zapgocharger Ltd, and Team Leader Mechanical Design at Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd, where responsibilities included designing electronic enclosures for extreme conditions. Robert's earlier positions encompassed product design for drug delivery devices, purchasing engineering focused on cost-saving opportunities, and extensive mechanical design work, maintaining CAD systems and training staff. An early career at Oxford Instruments Plc included roles from Design Draughtsman to Trainee Technician. Robert holds an HNC in Engineering from Oxford Polytechnic and a foundation of O' Levels from Bartholomew School.
