Operating Partner at Vector Capital

Andrew is an Operating Partner on Vector's Value Creation Team and joined the firm in 2017. With more than 30 years of senior financial operations experience, Andrew works closely with the finance and operations teams at Vector's portfolio companies to create, organize, and manage operational data and financial analysis to promote best practices for decision-making and accountability. With a history in mergers & acquisitions and financial planning & analysis, Andrew works in collaboration with management to quickly identify potential synergies and helps to develop roadmaps to execute Vector's value creation plans.

Prior to joining Vector, Andrew was Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Services Division, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for three portfolio companies of major private equity firms that were Alvarez and Marsal clients. Previously, Andrew was a Managing Director on the Value Creation Team at The Gores Group, a $4.0 billion middle-market private equity firm based in Los Angeles. Prior to his time at The Gores Group, Andrew was Corporate Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer for a $2.5 billion software and services division of SunGard Data Systems, a Fortune 500 public company. While at SunGard, Andrew was part of a corporate team that grew SunGard from revenues of $300 million to revenues of more than $4.0 billion, including completing 125 domestic and international acquisitions over a 14-year period, combined with double digit organic growth. Andrew was also a leader in the leveraged buy-out of SunGard by a group of seven private equity firms. Andrew began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was Senior Director in the Technology Group.

Andrew, who is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a B.S. from Northeastern University, where he graduated with high distinction.
