David Baylor

David is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Vector Capital and is responsible for all non-investment activities including finance, tax, legal, human capital, investor relations, and general firm operations.

Prior to joining Vector in 2008, David was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc. He was also a Senior Managing Director and a member of the Executive Committee. Previously, David was a Managing Director with Montgomery Securities, a securities attorney with Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Falk and Rabkin, and a certified public accountant with Deloitte & Touche.

David holds a B.S. from Arizona State University and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
