Steve Trippe

Steve Trippe has divided the bulk of his career between various segments of the energy industry, real estate development, and investing in entrepreneurial start-up companies. Trippe spent more than 25 years as a leader in the energy business focused on upstream resource development, mid-stream trading, and renewables such as wind and solar. He recently served as chairman of Quantum Technology Sciences, Inc., which designs, manufactures, and deploys high-technology tactical geophysical security systems.

Quantum has nearly three decades as a U.S. Federal Contractor supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and other agencies and public entities. Quantum’s product line delivers the only situational awareness solution with a three-dimensional, 360-degree detection sensitivity in air, water and the earth. Quantum deploys algorithmic analytics on top of physical sensor networks to detect anomalies and disruptions in real-time. In 2018, Mr. Trippe finalized the sale and acquisition Quantum Technology Sciences, Inc. to Geo-Space Technologies, Inc. where he serves as a consultant and shareholder representative to Quantum. Mr. Trippe has significant investments in several energy, technology and intelligence companies, including Vector Center.
