Peter Ziegenhein

Peter Ziegenhein has over a decade of experience in research and development, currently serving as Vice President of R&D for MedTech & Industry at VECTOR Informatik since September 2018. In this role, Peter leads a multidisciplinary team focused on advancing modern automotive electronics. Prior to this, Peter was an Academic Researcher at The Institute of Cancer Research from September 2013 to July 2018, where research efforts centered on developing high-performance computational solutions for individualized cancer therapy and modern Radiation Oncology. Earlier, from April 2009 to June 2013, Peter was a PhD student at the German Cancer Research Center, contributing to the design of innovative therapy treatment planning techniques. Peter holds a Dr. rer. nat. and a Diplom in Physics from Heidelberg University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh.
