Anthony Acres

Anthony Acres is a Resource Management Principal with extensive experience in planning and digital policy. They served as a Resource Management and Planning Specialist and later as Resource Management Principal at Vector Limited from 2020 to 2024. Prior to this, they held various planning and advisory roles at Auckland Council from 2016 to 2018, focusing on digital policy and stakeholder management. Anthony's earlier experience includes working as a Broadband Advisor for Auckland City Council from 2009 to 2011, where they attracted broadband investment and promoted the deployment of fast broadband networks. They hold a Bachelor of Planning with honors from the University of Auckland and completed a short course in Public Policy Analysis at Victoria University of Wellington in 2013.
