Matthew McCarthy

Matthew McCarthy is a Solution Architect with a diverse background in security, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and applications. They have contributed to various high-impact projects, including establishing a Monitoring and Alerting center of excellence at the Ministry of Health New Zealand and delivering critical architecture for the Water Services Reform Program at the Department of Internal Affairs. Their experience spans multiple sectors, with a strong focus on complex system integration and cloud migrations, including significant roles at Meridian Energy and the Bank of New Zealand. Currently, Matthew is engaged as a Solution Architect in Operational Technology at Vector Limited, while also pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering (Hons) in Electronic Systems Design at Staffordshire University.
