Steve Heinen has extensive experience in asset management, network planning, and energy systems. Currently serving as General Manager of Asset Management and Network Planning at Vector Limited, Steve is responsible for strategic investment planning and modernization of the electricity network, benefiting 1.8 million New Zealanders. Previous roles include General Manager of Asset Management, Future Network & Planning Manager, and various positions within EY and the World Energy Council. Steve's academic background includes a PhD from University College Dublin focused on integrated energy systems, along with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Finance from renowned institutions such as ETH Zurich and Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
