Anna O'Dowd

Anna O'Dowd's work experience includes working as a Design Engineer at Vector Photonics since February 2022. In this role, they design a new class of semiconductor laser called the PCSEL and develops modelling software for simulating various aspects of the laser.

Prior to that, Anna worked at Enable from September 2019 to December 2020. Anna started as an Implementation Analyst, where they served as a client-facing product expert for a highly configurable rebate management software. Anna also had a 6-week secondment to the San Francisco office, leading international projects.

Later, Anna was promoted to the role of Implementation Lead at Enable, starting in September 2020. In this role, they led UK-based and international projects, project managed and configured software, and received training in SQL and HTML.

Anna also worked as a Headstart Residential Ambassador at Lancaster University in July 2018.
