Connor Munro

Process Development Engineer at Vector Photonics

Connor Munro has a diverse work experience in the field of compound semiconductors and photonics. Connor is currently a PHD Candidate at the University of Glasgow, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Process Development Engineer at Vector Photonics starting in July 2021. Connor also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow on the GaN on DaME Project, from October 2020 to July 2021. Before that, they gained experience at Compound Semiconductor Technologies Global Ltd, where they held roles as a Junior Etch Engineer from October 2018 to October 2020, and as an Etch & Thinning Operator from February 2018 to October 2018. Connor has a strong background in process development, continuous improvement, and wafer fabrication.

Connor Munro obtained a Bachelor's degree in Experimental Physics from the University of St Andrews, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
