Tim Brown

Tim Brown has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Tim is currently working as the Client Solutions Technology Director at Vector Tech Group since May 2022. Previously, Tim held various roles at Muskegon Area ISD. From July 2018 to April 2022, they served as the Director Of Technology Services, where they managed the MAISD Technology Department, Lakeshore Technology Consortium, and Shoreline Fiber Network. Before that, they were the Program Director of Technology Services from July 2017 to July 2018, responsible for managing the MAISD Technology Department and Shoreline Fiber Network. Tim also worked as the Network Systems Manager from June 2004 to July 2017, overseeing the Shoreline Fiber Network. Their earlier role at Muskegon Area ISD was the Regional Network Manager from September 1997 to June 2004, where they managed the wide area network and data center. Prior to their time at Muskegon Area ISD, Tim worked as a Technician at Dynamic Computer Services, specializing in Novell Networks from 1996 to 1997.

Tim Brown's education history begins with their high school education at Shelby High School, from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a diploma. After high school, they pursued further education in computer networking and obtained a certification as a Certified Novell Administrator from Novell Netware Certifications, from 1996 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Tim Brown has obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2000, they received certifications in Network Troubleshooting Methods and TCP/IP Protocol Analysis, using EtherPeek, from The AG Group, Inc. In 2004, they obtained certifications in Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices and Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks from Cisco Systems. In 2009, they received a certification in Interviewing Skills from Muskegon Area ISD. Finally, in 2011 and 2014, they obtained certifications in Python with Eclipse and InfoSec and Whitehat Hacking and Penetration Testing, respectively, from Udemy.
