Bharath Vissapragada has a long and varied work experience in the software engineering field. In 2012, they participated in the Google Summer of Code. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Cloudera, where they contributed to various sub-systems in the Impala project. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Salesforce as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, working on HBase and in the intersection of OLTP and streaming analytics. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Redpanda Data.
Bharath Vissapragada obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad between 2007 and 2012.
