Gene Lang has been working in the tech industry since 2015. Gene started their career as a Senior Database Administrator at Exide Technologies, LLC in 2015. In 2016, they moved to the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a DevOps Engineer. In 2019, they joined Shipt as a Senior DevOps Engineer. In 2022, they were hired by Convictional as a Staff Engineer. Gene is currently employed at Redpanda Data as a Software Engineer.
Gene Lang received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Emory University in 2009.
