Sonu Pillai is an accomplished Engineering Leader currently working at Redpanda Data since 2024. They previously served as an Engineering Manager at Confluent from 2019 to 2024, where they contributed to the Confluent Cloud offering. Prior to that, Sonu held positions as a Software Engineer at Izel Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (2007-2009) and Linsyssoft Technologies (2009), and was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Delphix from 2012 to 2015.
