David Bunting

David Bunting has a diverse work experience across various industries. David started their career as a Game Tester at Activision and EA in 2004 and 2006, respectively, where they conducted quality assurance testing and bug documentation for software in development. In 2010, they transitioned to a role as a Machinist & CNC Programmer at Burnic Screw Products, where they managed inventory and operated CNC machines. In the same year, they also started working as a Freelance Concept Developer, focusing on creating new ideas and concepts and building custom web applications.

In 2013, David joined Broadvoice as a System Operations Engineer, responsible for system operations and maintenance. David later moved to PennyMac Loan Services, LLC in 2016, where they served as a Helpdesk Technician until 2018. David then became an Operations Engineer, responsible for ensuring smooth operations, and eventually transitioned to a Site Reliability Engineer role in 2020.

David's most recent work experience is at VectorUSA, where they started working as a Systems Administrator in 2023.

David Bunting completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Network and System Administration/Administration from Westwood College of Technology from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Crescenta Valley High School from 1997 to 2000 where they received a general education. David also engaged in self-education, exploring various IT technologies and procedures.

In addition to their formal education, David obtained several certifications. In September 2022, they achieved certifications as a Ubiquiti Broadband Wireless Admin, Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Admin, and Unifi Network Specialist from Ubiquiti Inc. In December 2020 and July 2021, respectively, David earned Sumo Logic Fundamentals Certified, Sumo Logic Administration, Sumo Logic Metrics Mastery, and Sumo Logic Search Mastery certifications from Sumo Logic.
