Marcus Gava

Marcus Gava has over 19 years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as the Head of Sales for Veea Inc. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member for M2PLAY "SmartThings&Sound" Hightech Integrator from 2016-2021. From 2014-2016, they were the Regional Sales Director for Thomson Video Networks. From 2013-2014, they worked as a Senior Consultant for an Independent Business Consultant, where they were responsible for Start-Up projects for OTT and IPTV, as well as ISP IPTV projects. From 2011-2013, they were the Video, Content and New Products Director for Algar Telecom. In 2010, they co-founded Digital5. From 2008-2010, they were the Sales Director for ECI Telecom. From 2007-2008, they were the Director Broadband Wireless for LATAM at IPWireless, where they developed projects and markets in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Brazil. Lastly, from 2004-2007, they served as the Managing Director for MRV Communications, and from 2002-2004, they were the Regional Manager for Riverstone Networks.

Marcus Gava attended Carleton University in 2000, where they participated in the Leadership Academy Program. Marcus then earned their MsC in Computer Networks from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA between 1988 and 1991. Finally, they obtained their Electrical Engineer degree from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU between 1983 and 1987, with a focus on Telecommunications.
