David Teston

David Teston, MSIT, is a seasoned security professional currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Veeam Software since July 2023. David's expertise encompasses a range of security tools, including Splunk, Microsoft Defender, Tenable, Zscaler, hardware security modules, and corporate password vaults. Prior to Veeam Software, David held the position of Senior Security Engineer at Centura Health from September 2022 to June 2023, and served as the Information Security Officer for the Georgia Public Library Service, as well as a Senior Systems Administrator during his tenure at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia from June 2016 to August 2022. David's career also includes roles as a Computer Technician, Customer Service Agent, Computer Science Tutor, IT Support Specialist, and Web Developer. Academically, David holds a Master of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Information Security and Digital Forensics from Middle Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia College & State University, complemented by a Certificate of Leadership from Impact 360.
