Jayesh Ratnam

Jayesh Ratnam is a Mechanical Design Engineer II at Veeco since October 2022, specializing in new product development, design for manufacturing for both traditional and additive manufacturing, precision design, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Prior experience includes serving as a Manufacturing Engineer at Weitron Refrigerants, focusing on new product development, quality control, and process improvement. Jayesh worked at Rutgers University as a Graduate Student Researcher, where significant projects included designing green filtration systems and collaborating on predictive methods for cosmetic powder testing. Additionally, Jayesh taught a course on the Design of Mechanical Components, preparing lectures and assessments for undergraduate students. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management.
