Mati Cohen

Mati Cohen has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and algorithms. mati started their career as a Post-doctoral fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2009 and worked there until 2011. After that, they joined HQL Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Structural Biologist from October 2010 to May 2016. In 2014, they moved to TargetGene Biotechnologies LTD and took on the role of a Senior Structural Biologist. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Dragonfly Group as the Head of Algorithms.

Mati Cohen's education history begins in 1990 at Yigal Alon, where they pursued a Bagrut degree in Biology until 1993. Following that, from 1998 to 2001, they attended Bar-Ilan University to obtain a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology. Lastly, Mati furthered their education at the Weizmann Institute of Science, starting in 2002 and concluding in 2009, where they earned a PhD in Structural Bioinformatics.
