Beatriz Soares

Beatriz Soares currently serves as a Software Engineer at Veeva Systems, a position held since March 2025, following a prior Software Engineer role at Promptly Health from July 2022 to March 2025. Beatriz completed a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Medical Informatics, at Universidade do Minho, where the master's thesis focused on the development of a healthcare web application with DICOM image viewer functionalities, integrating cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence. During the master's studies, Beatriz contributed to an article entitled "Cloud-based Privacy-preserving Medical Imaging System using Machine Learning Tools," accepted for publication at the 21st EPIA conference in 2022. Additionally, Beatriz was a HASLAB member at INESC Technology and Science from March 2022 to September 2022. Education was also received at Escola Secundária Carlos Amarante from September 2014 to June 2017.
