Daniel Weimer

Daniel Weimer, FRM, currently serves as a Senior Engineering Manager at Veeva Systems since April 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Charles River Development from February 2008 to April 2024, where responsibilities included leading a department of over 40 engineers in performance measurement and portfolio analytics, and managing various development teams focused on portfolio risk and system integration. Notable achievements include successfully guiding the portfolio risk module from inception to production and transitioning development practices from waterfall to Agile methodologies. Earlier experience includes a position as Team Lead at EMC, where Daniel oversaw the development transition from Germany to India, and worked as a Software Developer on payroll processing applications. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt and has a background as a Research Scientist in Cryptography from the University of Calgary.
