Doug Etzel

Doug Etzel is an experienced business leader currently serving as an Advisor and President of Veeva Asia at Veeva Systems since October 2012, overseeing the company’s operations in multiple Asian markets. Doug Etzel holds positions on the Advisory Board for the Center for Japanese Studies at Portland State University and as an Investor with the Oregon Venture Fund. Previous roles include VP for Asia-Pacific and Japan at Netezza, General Manager for Asia at Vignette, and various leadership positions at Siebel Systems, Cell Computing, and NCR Corporation. Doug Etzel earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and has robust educational credentials that include a Postgraduate Exchange Program in Japanese language from Waseda University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University.
