R Karimi

R Karimi is an accomplished Data Science Director at Veeva Systems since May 2021, focusing on product innovation and expansion through AI and analytics. Previously, R Karimi held roles as Associate Director and Senior Principal Data Scientist for Veeva Link products, leading data science initiatives and building the EU data science team. R Karimi also served as Principal Data Scientist at Elsevier, managing a diverse team and addressing complex data challenges, and as a Research Scientist at Philips, developing predictive models to enhance customer experience. R Karimi volunteers as a member of the MIT Educational Council, helping to identify exceptional MIT applicants. R Karimi holds a PhD in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and advanced degrees from Sharif University of Technology, as well as experience at the University of California institutions.
