Rabinder Koul

Rabinder Koul has a diverse and extensive background in risk management and finance. Rabinder most recently served as the COO at VegaMX Inc. Prior to this, they held the role of Managing Director / Risk Management at Gateway Partners, where they provided objective and unbiased risk management consulting advice to various clients. Rabinder also worked as a Faculty Member at the New York Institute of Finance, where they developed and facilitated courses in risk management and other financial topics.

Earlier in their career, Rabinder worked at RBC as the Head of US Market and Trading Credit Risk, overseeing and monitoring the market and trading credit risk in US Fixed Income and Wealth Management. Rabinder successfully expanded their team and led the creation of state-of-the-art risk reporting systems. Rabinder also worked at Nomura Securities as the Head of Market and Credit Risk Analytics, managing the risk measurement of various fixed income portfolios.

Prior to this, Rabinder worked at BMO-Nesbitt as the Head of Chicago Market Risk, where they managed risk managers and conducted timely measurement and monitoring of financial risk for various trading portfolios. Rabinder also worked at Williams Energy Marketing and Trading as the Director and Head of the Quantitative and Analytics Group, where they hired and managed a team and led the development of risk management models.

Rabinder began their career at ABN AMRO as a Vice President, focusing on financial engineering and the development of various models for interest rate options and market risk methodology.
