Creative Director at Vehr Communications

Grace Ring has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Grace started their career at LPK, where they worked as a Co-op from March 2001 to December 2001. Grace then moved on to Jacques Auger Design Associates, where they also worked as a Co-op from March 2002 to December 2002. Grace went on to work at Minelli, Inc. as a Co-op from March 2003 to December 2003. In 2004, they joined F+W Media, Inc. as an Art Director, where they were responsible for concept, design, and creative direction of books. Grace managed a team of designers and assisted with conference planning. Grace worked at F+W Media, Inc. until March 2012.

In 2012, Grace joined Madison Design Group as an Art Director. Grace developed branding, marketing, and advertising campaigns for both B2B and B2C healthcare clients. After three years, Grace moved to Barefoot Proximity as an Associate Creative Director. In this role, they led the development of ExxonMobil B2B and B2C campaigns as part of the BBDO team. Grace managed designers and copywriters, assigned resources, and planned and directed photo and video shoots.

From 2000 to 2004, Grace also worked as a Student Worker at the University of Cincinnati, where they served as a part-time receptionist and assisted and tutored students with disabilities.

Grace started their own design business called Grace Ring Design in 2001. Grace volunteered their design services for small organizations and individuals, working on projects such as branding, invitations, brochures, books, shirts, and websites. Grace also donated their time and materials to sew masks for frontline workers with Sew Masks 4 Cincy.

Currently, Grace is working at Vehr Communications as a Creative Director. Grace has developed and implemented agency creative processes and manages the design team. Grace leads the creation of branding, marketing, and communications collateral and produces estimates, proposals, and presentations.

Grace Ring attended the University of Cincinnati from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Design from the College of Design, Architecture, Art, & Planning.
