Erhan Karaca

Erhan Karaca currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at VEIR since December 2023, having previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Last Energy from March 2023 to December 2023. Prior experience includes Vice President of Engineering at Malta Inc., where Erhan Karaca was instrumental in developing Malta Pumped Heat Energy Storage products and raising over $85 million in funding. Career experience spans several key roles at GE Power between 2005 and 2019, including Director of Hardware Systems and Senior Engineer-Customer Application Engineering, where contributions focused on plant design and emissions strategies to enhance market offerings. Previous positions also include Systems Design Coordinator at Hatch and Assistant Project/Site Manager at Ener Energy Generation Inc. Erhan Karaca earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
