Manuel Davy

CEO and Founder at Vekia

Manuel Davy has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they became a Board Member at Customs Bridge. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Leader at La Cité de l'IA. From 2007 to 2019, they were the CEO and Founder at Vekia, where they developed a cloud platform for demand planners. From 2001 to 2007, they were a Researcher at CNRS, researching Signal Processing, Bayesian statistics and Machine Learning. From 2000 to 2001, they were a Researcher at the University of Cambridge, working on a European funded research project that dealt with multimedia indexing. From 1996 to 2000, they were a Soldier at 7e BCA in the Armée de Terre.

Manuel Davy attended Ecole centrale de Nantes from 1993 to 1996, where they earned an Engineering (Master's) degree in Automatic Control and Signal Processing. Manuel then pursued a PhD in Signal Processing and applied Mathematics at the same school from 1997 to 2000. In 2006, they obtained their HDR - University Professor Habilitation from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in Machine Learning. In 2014, they attended Stanford University's Stanford Lille Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program.
