Victor Sobral serves as the Senior Tax Manager for Latin America at Vela Software since November 2020, overseeing tax matters in M&A, compliance, and litigation. Prior to this role, Victor amassed extensive experience at PwC from July 2010 to November 2020, culminating in the M&A Tax Manager position for Brazilian operations where responsibilities included managing tax due diligence and structuring engagements, as well as being a key contact for American clients. Victor's career commenced with various roles at PwC Brazil, focusing on M&A tax services, and included an internship in tax litigation at Gaia, Silva, Gaede Advogados. Education includes a law degree from Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina and a short program at the University of Southern California.
