Andrew Lang

Andrew Lang has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering field. Andrew started their career at Nortel in 1993 as an Associate Engineer, where they focused on implementing real-time communications protocols. Andrew then worked at Telectronics Pacing Systems and AT&T as a Software Engineer before joining Bell Labs Lucent Technologies in 1996. At Bell Labs, they took on the role of Software Engineer and remained there until 2000, gaining experience in various software development projects.

Following their time at Bell Labs, Andrew joined Avaya in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer. During their tenure at Avaya, they worked on SIP and H.323 video development for PBX systems, as well as PC-based and J2SE desktop PABX configuration applications. Andrew also contributed to system engineering, testing, and provided knowledge transfers to customers and support staff.

In 2010, Andrew moved on to Object Trading, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer. Andrew worked in this capacity until 2017, gaining valuable experience in the financial technology industry.

After their time at Object Trading, Andrew joined Vela in 2017 as a Principal Software Engineer, where they continued to apply their expertise in software development.

Most recently, they have been working at Vivienne Court Trading Pty Ltd since 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Andrew Lang earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney, completing their studies from 1988 to 1992. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution, which they completed in 1990.
