Raja Roy

Raja Roy has extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer at Vela, where they were responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining low latency market data feedhandlers. Raja worked on designing and developing snapshot and recovery mechanisms using TCP/UDP protocols for feedhandlers developed for various exchanges. Raja was actively involved in performance improvement using software tools and best practices.

Prior to their role at Vela, Raja worked as a Software Developer at Strategic Partnership for Industrial Resurgence (SPIR). Raja served as a graduate assistant on a research-based project, working on designing, developing, and testing a web portal and automation process for fetching useful information about drugs. Raja also helped in mapping disease terms and other related drug information. Their key skills include C#, SVN, Linux, shell scripting, Windows, SQL Server 2008, and Visual Studio 2008.

Raja Roy obtained a B-Tech degree in Computer Science from Motivational Pathway, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University, State University of New York, from 2009 to 2011.
