Ed Terzek

Ed Terzek has over three decades of experience in the telecommunications and cybersecurity industry. Ed started their career at Verizon Business, where they served as a Managing Partner for Enterprise Sales. During their time at Verizon, Ed was responsible for maintaining and growing a revenue base of over $85M annually.

After leaving Verizon, Ed joined Level 3 Communications as a Senior Director in the Global Accounts Division. In this role, they led a sales organization and exhibited strategic leadership and management skills. Ed was responsible for hiring and developing team members, managing account modules, and creating strategic account plans.

Following their tenure at Level 3 Communications, Ed joined CenturyLink as a Client Executive. Ed played a crucial role in enabling large enterprises to achieve the economic value of digital transformation by providing IT infrastructure solutions. Ed engaged with clients in various capacities, including strategy, consulting, implementation, and design.

Ed then joined Intrinium as a Sales Director, where they continued to utilize their sales expertise in driving revenue growth for the company. Ed then moved to TorchLight, where they served as the Director of Sales & Service. In this position, Ed had overall responsibilities for both direct and indirect sales channels and service of TorchLight's cybersecurity solutions. Ed led a team of Solution Consultants and collaborated with various departments to expand revenue streams and provide cybersecurity solutions to businesses nationwide.

Currently, Ed is the Vice President of Cybersecurity Solutions at Velaspan, a position they assumed in 2022. In this role, they are expected to leverage their extensive experience and expertise to drive the company's cybersecurity initiatives.

Ed Terzek attended Tennessee Wesleyan University from 1984 to 1989, where they pursued a degree in Business Education with a focus on Business/Commerce. In terms of additional certifications, they received the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2020 and participated in the Microsoft Security Cloud Week Technical program offered by Microsoft in June 2022.
