Darren Springer

Darren Springer is currently the General Manager at Burlington Electric Department, leading efforts towards Burlington's Net Zero Energy 2030 goal. They previously served as Policy Fellow at the Center For Research on Vermont and were involved in various leadership roles, including Deputy Commissioner at the Vermont Department of Public Service. Additionally, Darren has held board positions with several organizations, including Vermont Electric Power Company and the Energy Action Network. They hold a Bachelor's degree in History from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a Master's degree in Environmental Law and a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
