Jan Baumgart

Jan Baumgart is the Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Germany at KKR, where they have contributed since 2019. Currently, Jan serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at VELERO and is an Advisory Board Member at EGC Energie- und Gebäudetechnik-Control GmbH & Co. KG. Previously, from 2011 to 2019, Jan held the position of Managing Director at PATRIZIA Alternative Investments GmbH, overseeing significant investments in various real estate projects. Jan also served on the Supervisory Board of Süddeutsche Wohnen Group from 2012 to 2015. They hold degrees in Economics and Mechanical Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover and ETH Zürich, as well as a degree in Finance from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
