Ilona Strode

Ilona Strode has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Ilona currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Velexa since February 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded Agile Finance Advisors in August 2020, where they served as a Co-Founder until June 2022. Ilona also worked at Briox as the Country Manager for Latvia and Lithuania from August 2019 to September 2021. Before that, Strode was a Co-owner at Gramatvedibas birojs IRIS from 2007 to December 2020. Ilona also held the role of CFO at Guntis Rāvis fund from September 2011 to August 2016. Strode has also served as a Board Member at Agentura DK from September 2007 to August 2016. Additionally, they worked as the Finance Director at Latvian Shipping Company from September 2009 to November 2010, and as the Managing Director at Bridge Capital from August 2003 to August 2007.

Ilona Strode completed their MBA in Economics from Latvijas Universitate, attending from 1991 to 1997. Later, they pursued further education and obtained an EMBA in Business Administration from the Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, attending from 2004 to 2006.
