Violeta Ganeva has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade, with roles in risk and compliance, business analysis, fraud prevention, and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance.

Currently, they hold the position of Risk and Compliance Officer at Velexa, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Evolution as a Business Analyst in IT and Regulatory Compliance from July 2021 to February 2023.

In 2020, Violeta worked at LegacyFx as a Risk and Fraud Officer, showcasing their expertise in risk management. Before that, they were an AML Team Leader at Entain from June 2019 to September 2020, demonstrating their proficiency in AML compliance.

Their past experience includes being a Financial Controller at BlockEx from March 2018 to February 2019 and a Risk Manager at SafeCharge from April 2016 to March 2018, highlighting their financial expertise and risk management skills.

Violeta's early career involved working as an AML Compliance Officer at Paysafe Group from October 2008 to December 2015, establishing their foundation in compliance and financial regulation.

Violeta Ganeva has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, which they obtained from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 2004 to 2008. Violeta later pursued further education in the field of Anti-Money Laundering, starting with a Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association, obtained in 2012. Violeta then went on to complete an Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering from the same institution in 2014. In 2013 and 2014, Violeta also obtained an Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association. Additionally, they have obtained additional certifications such as a Certificate in Financial Crimes with the Usage of Fake Documents for Identity and Online Payment Instruments from the Center for Qualification and Development in October 2015.
