VELIOR DEVELOPPEMENT (VELIOR DEV.) is a business transformation consulting firm created in 2015 with the ambition of promoting a vibrant African private sector. Our mission is to capacitate firms and professional organizations in Africa to implement their development projects and achieve measurable and sustainable impacts. We provide African entrepreneurs with taylored business solutions that mobilize and catalyze an ecosystem of market, financial and technical development partners.
We assist in the transfer of knowledge and knowhow and reinforce the skills of the people and their organizations to improve sustainably their performance and their competitiveness. We contribute to better living conditions for the entrepreneurs, the farmers’ organizations, and their communities and to an inclusive and resilient economic and social development in Africa.
We have successfully partnered with (i) IDH and Le Conseil du Café-Cacao in Côte d’Ivoire for the professionalization of cocoa cooperative companies (FCIP, Farm & Coop Investment Program, over 300 assessments completed with SCOPEinsight SCOPE Basic and SCOPE PRO tools , 2020), (ii)  ADVANS (microfinance) and CARGILL to develop agri finance for the cocoa producers and organizations (VSLAs, coop. companies) in Côte d’Ivoire to improve their living income levels (COCOAPERATION, IDH/ Le Conseil du Café-Cacao, 2023), (iii) IFAD to help rice, horticulture and mango producers and their business organization access finance (ADVANS CI, UNACOOPEC CI,  USADF, 2023), (v) the WORLD BANK for private sector development programs in Africa (Burundi PDLE, Programme de Développement Local pour l’Emploi, 2023; Congo Brazzaville PADEC,  Programme d’Appui au Développement des Enterprises et  la Compétitivité with 176 SME graduated and supported in a Business Plan Competition; DR Congo PADMPME, assisting the Program Management Unit in the BPCs’ implementation, 2022).
