Jonathan Dallas

Jonathan Dallas has a long and varied work experience. Jonathan started their career in 1997 as a Supervisor at Peapod. In 2001, they held two concurrent roles at Dancing Deer Baking Co. as Web Developer, Creative Designer, Helpdesk, Order Processing Admin and at Pinpoint Corporation as Test Software Developer. In 2008, they joined CIDC as Technical Product Owner and Lead Front End Web Developer. That same year, they also began a side business as a Freelance Web Developer. In 2009, they took on a role as a Freelance LEGO Model Builder. In 2012, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Staples and an Executive Committee Member at NELUG.org, INC. In 2013, they joined Velir as Principal Front End Web Developer and has since held various roles including Lead and Primary Developer, Lead Front End Developer, and Lead Developer.

Jonathan Dallas completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wentworth Institute of Technology between 1998 and 2002. Jonathan then attended Franklin Institute of Boston between 1993 and 1995, where they earned an Associate of Science in Architecture. In 2013, they attended General Assembly for a course in Ruby on Rails. In 2019, they completed an Accessibility Bootcamp from Deque University. Additionally, they obtained a Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals in October 2020 and a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2012.
