Tom Schaefer

Tom Schaefer has a wealth of experience in various roles and industries. Tom began their career as an Engineer at Bendix Kansas City Division before moving on to Schlumberger Technologies, where they held multiple positions, including Managing Director. At Schlumberger, they played a key role in growing sales and profits and transitioning to large-scale deals. Tom also worked at Spatial Technologies, Concentra, Aspect Development, and i2 Technologies, assuming leadership roles and contributing to revenue growth. Tom served as EVP of Marketing at Digital Fuel Technologies and as CEO at SaveEnergy123.com. Tom then joined Executive Search as the VP of Recruiting before becoming the Head of Global Recruiting at Velo3D, where they tripled the company's revenue. More recently, they served as the Senior Director of Business Development - International at Velo3D. Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated expertise in areas such as business development, marketing, recruiting, and strategic direction.

Tom Schaefer holds a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on International Marketing and Finance, which they achieved with honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Michigan State University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering, also with honors, Cum Laude, from Northern Illinois University.
