Stuart Barclay

Stuart Barclay is a founding team member at Velocity, where they focus on building modern financial infrastructure to facilitate seamless capital movement across banks, blockchains, and borders. Prior to this role, they served as SVP Growth and VP Strategy at Volt.io, and held leadership positions in various organizations, including Trustly, where they were Head of Growth in Financial Services. With a strong background in strategy and policy, Stuart also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor in the UK Cabinet Office, leading projects aimed at enhancing the government’s digital transformation. Stuart earned a First-Class degree in Theology from Durham University.
