Eric Thompson

Eric Thompson, CSP, is an accomplished safety and health professional with extensive experience in consulting and management roles. Currently serving as Associate Manager of Consulting at VelocityEHS since January 2022, Eric leads a team focused on high-impact software implementations for enterprise clients, improving internal documentation practices. Previously, Eric worked as a Consultant at VelocityEHS, where successful enterprise implementations of the Safety Management suite were achieved, acting as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders. As the Regional SHE Manager at Kordsa, Eric directed SHE strategy for North American operations, modernizing safety systems and enhancing compliance. Earlier experience includes EHS Manager and Trainer/BBS Facilitator roles at Shaw Industries, emphasizing workplace safety and training programs. Eric holds a Master of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University, along with Master and Bachelor degrees in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee institutions.
