Johan Lilja

Johan Lilja has over 18 years of experience in business, technology and management. In 2002, they began their career as a Transport Administrator for Husqvarna AB. In 2003, they moved to Husqvarna as a Transport Administrator and provided ideas on how to improve and reconfigure the organization which were taken into consideration by senior management. In 2004, they were a Project Manager at the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences. From 2005 to 2009, they held various roles at MTG including Business Development Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager and Management Trainee. During this time, they were based in London and Stockholm. In 2009, they were an Executive VP, Head of Europe & Emerging Markets and Business Unit Manager at Highlight Media Group. In 2008, they were the CEO of NetSelection, an interactive media agency with focus on online marketing strategies on a local level. In 2007, they founded YouPlanet Ltd. and in 2009 they launched YouModels, an online model booking portal. Since 2014, they have been the Founder & CEO of Velory, a “Productivity-as-a-Service” platform that supports companies in handling a work from home situation and in becoming more circular and sustainable in their operations.

Johan Lilja received an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2004. Johan also received an MSc in Marketing, Finance, Management, and Accounting from Stockholm University and the Stockholm School of Economics between 2002 and 2004. From 2001 to 2002, they attended the University of Miami for Business but did not receive a degree. Before that, they attended Uppsala University School of Engineering from 1999 to 2001 for Engineering Physics, but again, did not receive a degree.
