João Miranda

João Miranda is an experienced Operations and Plant Manager with a robust background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and cross-functional team leadership. They have held key roles across several industries, including as Operations Director at Silvex and Engineering Director at OGMA, where they drove significant improvements in operational efficiency and profitability. João served as Assistant Professor at Instituto Politécnico Autónomo and has been a General Manager at VEM Group since 2022. They hold an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and have completed executive education at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
